Part 1: Professor Grant Schofield and Dr Caryn Zinn will present their annual “state of the nation” lecture on the latest in research and practice in low carb high fat eating.
The title of the lecture is “LCHF, Back to the future”. Its clear that we need some radical change in the way we eat in society Come and find a new way forward, keep up with the latest research and get some great “how to” tips. The “real food guidelines” will be released which are a look back to our ancestors and science to look forward to a healthier future.
Part 2: Jimmy Moore “The Living La Vida Low Carb Man”, prominent low carb blogger, podcaster and author is visiting from the US.
Jimmy’s story: In January 2004, at 32 years of age and weighing 186kg, Jimmy Moore made a decision to get rid of the weight that was literally killing him. A year later, he had shed 180 pounds, shrunk his waist by 20 inches, and dropped his shirt size from 5XL to XL. He achieved this by eating a diet low in carbohydrate and high in fat. He did everything that our current dietary guidelines recommend that we DON’T do! Come and hear Jimmy’s story and hear about his new book Keto Clarity.
